Dare I say, this Samantha doll was ugly. She was new in box since 1987 and had obviously been stored on her back in the heat all that time. Her face was crushed in, her eyelashes were straight, her face paint had faded, and her nose had a big shiner on it.

I smoothed down her nose to remove the shiner, then reshaped her face, curled her lashes, and applied a light coat of pastels to brighten up her fading face paint. The results were great! Now she looks like the new in box doll that she should be!
